Finally it's the MIDnite that I thought it always should have been :D

Raz can you try some of the higher end games like Real Football 11, Nova, Homerun Battle 3D etc and let me know how they perform on this? As these are some of the games I play on a regular basis on my HTC Desire, and would love be able play them on the lovely big screen of the MIDnite.

*Edit: I have just remembered that some of the apps I mentioned aren't on the market and also are paid ones. Homerun Battle 3D has a free version though. Also a good one to try out would be Raging Thunder 2 Lite. If these work well I will definitely be placing an order.

Well, it's about time!!! This is the one that should have been sold all along(not blaming you, blaming Wits for their amazingly SLOOOOWWW hardware updating....).This looks like a good contender at a good price for a capacitive model, will try it out! Look forward to big screen gaming ;)

I agree that this is the one that should have been sold in the first place - really wish I had known it was in development as i'd have waited. Ah well.

Capacitive screen but not flush with the bezel? I don't think I've ever seen that before! It looks like the screen was just dropped into the current design.

Will wait to hear how good that screen actually is, there are many variations of capacitive screens (brigthness, responsiveness, accuracy, etc...) and finishes (gorilla glass). In the meantime I will enjoy my resistive MIDnite as soon as comes back from repair.

That's £156.88 for us at the other side of the pond, very good price but I think I may wait until they are available.

The new MIDnite certainly looks good in the video and appears to perform very close to tabs costing more than three times this amount.

In the past I have created my own maps using on-line software and Google Maps which are great for phones with GPS when you know that you will be out of range of phone poles and wifi access or just if you want to keep your data costs down, this looks like it will be ideal for this kind of use due to the large screen size, capacitive screen and processor.

Ill try in Monday to see how they perform and let you know.

I agree with you all that this version is certainly more appealing with all its news features. I hope people jump on this, the midnite is still IMO one of the better china tabs out there.

Thanks Raz. I look forward to hearing how it performs. I don't think you need to worry about people not jumping on this. I think you've got a sure fire hit on your hands with this one. All the little additions make a HUGE difference, and turn what was okay budget tablet into a really well priced mid range tablet, that can start to compete with the likes of Archos.
