My midnite is frozen. After I power it on and it comes to the screen that you have to slide to unlock it, it does nothing. It does not recognize my hand or the stylus, it just stays one the locked screen. Is there anything that can be done to remedy this situation?

Take out the battery and re-insert it again, as it'll reset the player.

If that will not work, try to reflash the firmware...

Mine freezes periodically and pulling the battery does the trick - doesn't hurt anything.

VERY shortsighted of them not to put a reset button on the thing.

Sometimes when you turn the screen back on and have slide to unlock the screen may freeze, but pushing the on/off button at the top to turn off and then turn on the screen can unfreeze the screen without the need of a reset.

Never had that problem with my first MIDnite (flickering screen so sent back), but the replacement MIDnite (with GSensor) does have that annoying problem and I'd also found that on/off a few times can fix the problem, but it's annoying. That's with the latest 0110 ROM too.
