Hi there,

I've seen that many people got TVersity working on the HDVP-2 but I don't get it at all.
I have installed TVersity and the HDVP-2 connected with a ethernet cable.

HDVP-2 is connecting fine and I get a UPNP Media server on the HDVP-2. I can scroll trough the folders (movies, music, pictures etc.), but all folders are empty.
If I share something in TVersity it won't show up in the HDVP-2 folder. (I tried images, music, movies etc.)

Connected many times again, turning of and on, installed TVersity 3 times in a row, resetted my router, disabled my firewall.. nothing will help :( !

Somebody got a clue? Can somebody give my a small tutorial how you guys got TVersity working?

Thnx! :D

make sure you add the files or folder in Tversity in right directory.

in Tversity library, it has option to add files, or add a folder. make sure you add files to add files, not add folder in it. did you click the start to share after adding files?

okay for some reason it works now :) Even with adding folders instead of files.

But second problem is now showing up.. photo's are doing fine but when I try to play a movie (200 mb big) the HDVP-2 (connected with a ethernet cable) tried to start the movie but the player is freezing on a blank screen with the HDVP-2 wallpaper on it and the HDVP-2 logo in the corner but nothing appears on the screen?!

some times it take awhile to load from the server. also make sure you have the correct setting on the HDVP2 for the movie's resolution. If it freeze, just unplug the power cable, and re-insert it again.

What do you mean by that :) ? The display resolution? Because if you mean that it is not nessecary because he will down scale it, tested it with the internal harddrive movie that resolution was to high for my tv and it played just fine or is network play a whole other situation?

oops, mess up with internal HHD..lol.

some movie format does not play in network, like rmvb, but it plays avi very well as my most experience.

also be careful with tversity as it has setting that allow it to convert the movie for streaming, maybe you need to untick that box and just let is stream the movie in its original format
