Thanks mad. I did use the Oppo tool to mod out the Taylor Swift art. G85 feels better, and has a more responsive screen. This does feel pretty good in the hand, but I feel it's a bit thick. I still like it a lot though.

Hi TWP,
got my 530 last Friday and just started to "de-swift" the 1.0.7 by unpacking the image
and extract the bmpo with Isobuster.
Can you please point me to the oppo-tool?

thx

It would be easier to just download the one I did and install it.

well, the easiest would be to leave it as it is ;)
I also wanted to replace the ugly music backgroung and probably these ridiculous comic-icons.
I can extract the bmpo, but Imagesearcher (worked well for rk2706) does not seem to handle these png´s correctly. [/OT off]

Well, here's the link for the tools. But you don't need to extract the BMPO. Just open up the .img file in it, and you'll see the images. You can't extract the current images out, I don't believe, just change them. I believe they are .bmp images. Make sure to hit the different size images options at the top of the tool. http://www.mediafire.com/?zm2omwytmw3

Open up the tool. Load the .img file from the upper right button. Select one of the images on the left side, I think you can click on either lower left button for the change, then click on the ??IMG?? button on the bottom to save changes to the .img file. Bottom right exits.

EDIT: There are 2 buttons on the bottom left. If you click on the left most button, you can replace a single image. If you click the one to the right of it, you can load multiple images, by highlighting all the images you want to change first. Also, if you just want to change a single image, you can just double click on the list to the left of the image. Changes must be the same size as the image you're replacing.

worked very well!
Image

(too bad you can´t extract images to analyze the colour they use for transparancy,
but I´m happy so far...)

im sure if you use PNG and import it into the OPPO editor it works .. .i think?? so if you create an image with PNG transparency it should use that transparency .. but dont quote me on that
