If you update, you will lose all your apps. You can back them up to a micro SD card, but after reinstall, you won't get updates from the marketplace on them anymore. Best thing to do, imo, is to keep a list of all your apps. I have a notepad on my desktop, that I've recorded all the apps on. Easy to look them back up again.

Does anybody else get a huge amount of background static from their Rocktab when using earphones? I've tried my awesome Brainwavez M2s on both of the Rocktabs I got and the background static is massive. I have to have the volume set to the lowest possible level to be able to use them, and at that stage the static is overpowering. Kinda concerned, thought Rockchip players were known for the best audio quality.

Do you get it with other earphones too? There is a slight hum on the Rocktab, but it seems to be the same on all RK2808 devices, but not static.

Thanks D2K. I will try it out. Any new news on cases? Did Raz choose any yet and did you ever get one after your last experience? I think I am going to find a white one with a keyboard for my wife's rocktab.

Hope static is just a problem with the headphones. If both players have the same problem....now you got me worried...

The cases will take almost 50 days to be completed, so don't expect it here anytime soon.

Still can't trace my package, after 5 working days. After I fill in my tracking number it's asking me for a Enquiry Reference Number, do I need this?
