You can copy your files (one by one with the copy function of the player) from USB drive to internal memory, but I never had problems with video playback directly from USB drive with my V8000HDW.

The OTG cable with usb flash drive plugged in allows you to view the files on the flash drive like it was on the player or micro sd. However the transfer speed from flash drive to player may not be so great.

You won't be able to manage files from the player, and transfer files from the USB drive to the internal storage?

Did not say you cannot, just just it may be slow in transferring from usb flash drive compared to when connected to computer.

I believe the 2 slots in the lower right hand corner are for charms / lanyard

It's actually really hard to get a lanyard loop through those two holes. I've tried over a dozen times and have let to get the nylon loop to make the bend and come back out the other hole.

Yes, I realized that, but I can't seem to get anything to pass through there...

This thing came as an extra accessory for the V9000HDA:

Does anyone know what it is? It was in the same package as the stand that keeps the player in a position so that you can view it without holding it.
