is the sflo2 ui even worse than i9 (which is pretty annoying) . It's the sound that matters to me so i'll put up with whatever really. dont care about tags or artwork etc and will be using flac.

Well Ive never used a i9, but there is not many UI's worse then the S:Flo2's, like as been said if it had a better UI and maybe a better battery it would be very big seller

GUI is not that important, as a music player sflo2 gui is good enough for its purpose. sflo2 selling point is sq, if you want something other than sq, there are numerous other choices. imo sflo2 has the best sq among dozens of mp3 player i had/have.

agreed sz1999, but to me the GUI is not about its looks, far from it, it looks ok, its simply about its inability to support any sorting both in ts files system and its tag database, plus the simple matter of selection a song, the painfully slow scrolling is something, that for me, wears you down after a while, to the point you get annoyed and put it away again for a few more weeks - it is this that is noted whenever i see people selling their sflo2 and its a damn shame, because you are very right, the sound on this player is great .really great
