I wanted to see if I couod get a direct answer here from Razz regarding the following.... I was told by a few people that the Telepad 10.1 CAN be hooked up to a Tv and play via USB with no problems....just like what the 7" Telepad here can do except no HDMI on 10.1 of course............I opened a ticket about 3 days ago and no reply yet...I am most likely going to order the 10.1 Next week and need to get the answer here from the Top Dog... :D Thanks...

Ok, still no ticket response back and no reply online here so I just went on Live chat on MP4 site and the same rep that told me the Telepad 10.1" COULD be connected to TV via USB now says it CAN NOT.... He says he or I must have been cofused and were talking about the 7" with HDMI out.......I assured him that it was HIM that made the error in our chat the other night..........Not a big deal I guess but Im glad I didnt order based on what the Rep told me.. I think I will still wait for D2K's review of his 10.1" but then order the 7" next week !!!
I like 10.1 and Multitouch but I feel that 7" with HDMI out will be more use to me........ 8)

mmm .. there is the live chat also, but if it can be done then it must be a hack or they are talking about a different 10" player

Hi, no what is was is the Live chat Rep VJ thought I ewas asking about the TeleChip 7" and I had asked him straight out of the 10.1" inch can hook up via USB and he said Yes, I said I you sure as the MIDnite can not hook up via USB and he said, that is correct but 10.1 Telechip can...........Probably just an innocent mistake in the world of chatting fast ! LOL.... I mean, maybe there is a way to hook up via USB but I think I will lean towards the 7"...Razz's review/video looked really nice for the price you pay !

Careful with that new 2.2 fw, seems to be quite unstable. I have also played around with the official telepad with 2.2, it too is quite unstable. I think you may find 2.1 to offer a better user experience on the Telepads.

I know, but I'm a glutton for punishment, and I'm a programmer, might be able to help out with it a bit if I can :) All the reviewing I'm doing with it will be with 2.1 anyway, just like to live on the edge, lol.

Well if you like to live on the edge go for it ]
Aiyaa, these days we consider installing unstable software "living on the edge." Hardcore Nationites. :)

Agree my freind.....I played again tonight with that 7" MID at Best Buy and it was nice....I really thought the 7" would be too small but you own the Rocktab and can attest that its a real decent size...esp if I sometimes utilize HDMI to 47" LCD Tv.... :D

According to Raz,the 7" Telepad looks awesome on the big screen! It looks like you found your new toy ;)
