GPS and Screen Off/Crashes

Postby [Fernando] » Wed Nov 17, 2010 2:46 am

Hi,

I have the midnite with the last fw (1102) I´ve rooted, usb flash memory reader usable, wifi tethering, and now using the GPS I have one problem... as far as it detect some satellites and start navigation (sometimes one minute o more) the screen goes off and doesnt work, it´s necesary to restart (reboot) the unit. (And no, it´s not the autooff light) :-)

The navigation software is the Ndrive... someone has a clue to avoid/solution this?

thanks in advance.
Fernando

PS.- Sorry for my English, it´s not my mother language.

I don't think Ndrive is very stable. I tried and gave up and others have reported that it is not a mature product yet.

One question Raz. On my MIDnite has the navigation icon, does that means it has GPS?

No, the Navi app is on all units regardless if they have gps or not.
