To my knowledge there has not been any update to the VX530touch hardware. So the other question is if there has been a fw update or not.

well this is the impression i got from the ondaBBS - as the version with the new UI is a V5 - basically another onda hardware version change (i think there are V1 2 and 3 so far but they all use same firmware) as they do so well, but the latest firmware with new widgets is only for the V5 unit
