[quote="dragon2knight"]I already know the first one works, but a little slowly, its a bit resource hungry.I just found yesterday another ebook reader that has all the features of Aldiko with some nice eye candy that isnt as resource hungry called Laputa.Try it,youll llike it ]

dragon2knight,
Thanks for the recommendation. I've never used Laputa before. Though I do have FB2Reader on my desktop. I'll Google Laputa to see what I can find about that app. I'm really interested in what ebook apps will run comfortably on these Android 1.5 tabs. I have a lot of non-DRM ebooks that I can convert into ePUBs or FB2s thru Calibre to work under Laputa or Aldiko.

Its quickly turning into my favorite reader,it just has everything going for it,including a great free book selection of sites that download right to it,nice :)

I am starting to gear up for the RockTab arrival. I decided I wanted to use a stylus with it and I found this adapter too for the mini usb port. Hope it works with it or I spent some money for something in the future...yeah that' it. :)

That adapter should work just fine, all that matters is the mini usb to full size usb adapter ends.No cable is needed :)

Hi Raz, I have ordered Rocktab, but I dont like white color. Im thinking about canceling my order and wait for this RK2818 tablet. Do you have more information about it(specifications, supposed price)? Does it look like Ipad copy?

I don't know when we will have a RK2818, the one sample i have isn't as nice as the Rocktab. Overall the performance between the RK2808 and RK2818 is more or less the same, which is not surprising as the two are using the same chip, its just named different.

D2K (Raz and others): Thanks for welcoming the neophyte. It is difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff, the hype from reality, with regards to the 7" Android MID. I heard good things about MP4 Nation on the zillion of forums discussing the MID (APAD, etc). I cannot sort through all that-I am neither young nor in IT. I do appreciate the regular and honest commentary about the Rocktab- video reviews, hardware evaluation, optimal Android apps, accessories that may or may not work, etc. All of this has goes a long way to convince a member of the unsophisticated masses (me) to give Rocktab and MP4 Nation a try. As you know, integrity is priceless and compelling.
I am really looking forward to receiving the Rocktab!

the only thing i'll get for the Rocktab is an screenprotector, and when it's applied the touchscreen will even work better with your fingers.
have a same one on my MIDnite, and i dont have to use the stylus anymore :D

I need to get a screen protector as well, and a case.
