I concur with mad, d2k you have done a really good job on the review. I thinking just about everyone interested in the rocktab will be reading your review.

Just a though for the camera dilemma, why not try a USB hub, attach a camera and a USB men stick.

I just posted on the first post why that wont work. Its because everything you attach to the usb port disables WRITING to the SD card, rendering it useless for a device that requires writing to it,like a captured image from a camera. You would need what the APAD had,two different individually controllable usb ports for this to work. Not a problem so much for a keyboard/mouse,as they will work ok,just wont be able to save anything to the SD card.I really cant think of a go around for this, but if I do,Ill post it.Explained it a bit better in TIPS on the first post, read it to understand it better :)
EDIT!!!! LOOK HERE!! I just realized that the cable I was using to connect to the Rocktab(the one I got with my Yinlips...why am I not surprised....)was defective, causing all sorts of fun things to happen to the poor Rocktab....trying again with another one as we speak, looks like this one works!

Okay,I tried to get my microsoft camera recognised by every app there is in the Marketplace(literally ALL on them that can handle cameras/videos),no dice, wont get recognised.None of the chat apps work with it either(none of them have video capability).I went to try it online...and totally forgot that all webchat based sites use and require flash to work, which the Rocktab cant do(but it might work for you MIDnite users ;) ).So much for a camera...but dont worry, everything else I attached to the usb port worked like a charm(so far:External hard drive, several usb drives, both wired and wireless mouse/keyboard),all work great, with no problems encountered :)

Are you using a USB hub with all the accessories?
Was thnking of getting a small 4 port Hub for the RockTab in case I decide I want a full sized keyboard and mouse or whatever. :)

Well,my wireless is just one usb connection,so no probs there, and my wired one has the same(my keyboard has usb ports :) ).So far I havent had to add more than one at a time,so cant comment on the usb hub.Adesso makes great keyboards with built in track balls/track pads, and they're pretty cheap,if you type alot,it might be a good purchase :)

I have one of those keyboards. I was just planing for like if I don't know wanted to have a keyboard and mouse and a usb powered toaster hooked up. Not really but sometimes might need more than one USB thing hooked up. Don't have anything specific in mind but the Keyboard and mouse was a good example.

That was my original line of thinking, that there might be some software somewhere in the marketplace that would allow me to at least run the camera, but no dice.Ive been at it for several hours, and cant find a thing.I am going to try online and look and dig a bit deeper, maybe someone somewhere has software that will let it work.

Thanks for trying D2K! I will try searching online as well and see if I can find out anything else. Have you had a chance to try the usb hub yet?
