@aaroNiGHTS Check on Monday for the delivery update, i forgot it was Friday night when i posted that, i do not normally work weekends and generally i try to be out of the house and not in front of a PC during weekend, hence why sometimes i seem absent from the forums on the weekends.

@D2K thanks for doing a second video, i was actually surprised driod comic book viewer worked. I don't think a change in SD card speed would make pages load faster, i think the Droid comic viewer is probably taxing the Rocktab quite a bit, probably using smaller, less high res comic files may work ever better. The same with PDF, this would tax the Rocktab a lot, the best type of PDF files would be text files, those with lots of graphics would slow the Rocktab a lot.

BTW you may want to download and try the eBook app from Borders bookstore, it can run on the Rocktab and should work well. It will also give you access to the entire Borders eBook store.

I most certainly will download that app, thanks :) Actually,I think ACV works acceptably in spite of the fact it is a bit too much for the 2808,and THAT is what amazed me so much :) The wait in between pages is short and consistant,so it really isnt that bad a compromise.Of course it would run alot better on say the MIDnite, but your paying a hefty premium for just a bit more speed.PDF's are a sore spot here, and I think the apps with page caching (the ones you pay for)are worth it if you do alot of PDF viewing.Caching makes a huge difference in performance, even on lower powered tablets.
EDIT:I tried, but couldnt get the borders app,and its only available for 2.0 or later :(

Thats fair enough, go outside, have a run around and get a good tan.

But it is Monday now. Is the delivery man knocking at the door?

Ok,it cant be all fun and games....I am having a minor problem with the charger,a not too unexpected happening.MOD rowwor had a similar experience with her charger on her APAD V.2,which is the same charger used here. Not to worry, this isnt a deal breaker of a problem, its just that when I plug it in,it dosent seat itself too well, its very loose, which causes the charger to not charge the Rocktab if I dont have it"just right".Leaving it on a level surface and not disturbing it while charging seems to do the trick for now,but I will be looking into a different charger for myself, probably this one from Radio Shack, which celebgirl on here had found for use with her APAD V.2. It's expensive, but its the only one anyone seems to have found, ebay included, that works with the required settings, here it is: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... Id=3875410 .The settings are:5V, 2000ma, Plug diameter: 0.7mm I.D.,and 2.35mmO.D...these puppies are rare as hens teeth, unfortunatly. If anyone has better luck than we did,let us know, please :)

Nice try,but none of them work, output plugs are too big, a problem I have had with just about all of the universal chargers I was looking at,it has to be 0.7mm,no larger. Also,it cost as much as the Radio Shack model, and I would rather use them,if it breaks,at least you can bring it back to them :)

Not just apad that has the similar problem, D2K. I'm not certain what's the problem caused. it all happens on apad, midnite, and w7. most of them the battery is not accurate as far as i concern. I've charged them over night?(I'm sure it was connected correctly in the position.)when i want to use them, one of them won't turn on at the time. Bit annoying, not sure which will turn on when i need it. :(

Well, cheap chargers sell a dime a dozen,a sure way to cut costs unfortunately.Thats why we have these forums,so we can find a solution,if there is one :)

Dam, flimsy charger jacks are never good. Its good to hear that it can slowly charge over USB though.

I sure hope Raz is on the phone to that Acho factory right now! Its been so long since the Rocktab was announced, let alone all the teasing he did before! I'm really hoping for good news. Is it wrong that I'm hoping it'll be in my hands before the end of the week? I did get super fast shipping.

Bah, I can dream!

I don't think its due to the charger in this case, its due to the very thin adapter, it they used a wider circumference it would stay better.

Thats probably it. I remember the Gameboy Color had the worlds smallest adapter, it was such a pain to use.

Still haven't heard from the factory? Now delivery dates? No super amazing news? You're not packing all the Rocktabs ready to be sent out this afternoon?
