Hi,
I've got a v6000hdt from mp4nation too and that one has the same dent. I can live with it but yeah it's a bit bothersome. Another question thoo, does anyone have the issue with beta firmware 617 that when headphones are plugged in and you watch a movie the speakers play as well (kind of embarssing to be finding out about it after I got yelled at in a train ;) ) I hope it'll disappear with the new firmware.

Thank

Namenloser

Hi,
Installed the new firmware but the problem doesn't change :(
Is there a button or something in the headphone plug that detects that headphones are plugged in or how does it work ? Too bad there is no option to just switch the speakers off in general.

Thanks

Did you plug your headphones all the way in?

Sounds to me it's half-in and half-out thus resulting in some sound in the headphones and speakers working at the same time.

I read somewhere that the V6000HDT suffers from messed up audio jacks. Yours could unfortunately be one of those messed up ones. but just in case do what acreo said and make sure the jack is all the way in.

Hmm,
that's not it, they don't go any further in. I even tried other ones as well. Sounds like an RMA issue...sucks. Does anyone know how long an RMA usually takes with mp4nation ? And which form of sending to use...it's pretty expensive to send to Hong Kong from here (plus I wonder if I habe to pay taxes again when it comes back through customs)...maybe I'll just open the thing and kill the speakers :(

The warranty for mp4nation lasts a year :) it can take a few months for RMA :/
