I've sent an support email to them asking them for solution on why my MIDnite is having half screen blank and can't boot up.

The support reply "Please respond honestly - we will still support you".

Wow ! Didn't expect this kind of response from them... :x

They're expecting all client to "stoop" so low or they just assume every client to "cheat" them???

I've contacted Witstech and they're very helpful in solving my issue.

Didn't expect nation's support to be this unprofessional.

Regards,

Jon Lau

I'd not take it personally. There'd be a huge amount of people that would try to do one over on MP4Nation to try and swindle something free or try to exaggerate things. It gives us good Nationites a bad name!

Well did you tell them everything you did to your player? The half screen problem isn't something that happens on it's own with the Midnite you have to load a firmware upon it that they have already said in the forum DON'T load onto this player.

Then, shouldn't the support ask for more information instead of saying "if i'm not honest, i will not be given support" ???

I would ask for more information instead of saying "you're not honest, i will not give you support"...is that the usual way of answering support question ?

If any support team treats customer like that, how should the client react ?

Well...i think the support should find out more information regarding the issue instead of saying such thing.

Does it mean that any client that send email regarding issue with the purchased item is considered as "swindle" or "try to get some free stuff" ?

We ( A81e users ) are a small community.

We should be helping each other solve issues !!! And not "shot" it down .

Don't get me wrong here...i want A81E to be popluar...but the support team really make me feel that "don't bother us after your purchase" kind of feeling.

i would say their english is not the best, their exact words according to your post was:

Please respond honestly - we will still support you"

==========
it doesnt say: we will never support you or something like that.
In any way i am sure they didnt intend to come over like that and if they would then its weird.

Normally when i would have a problem i would open a ticket with screenshots attached.

Even if i translate it to Chinese, it doesn't sound right...
I don't think it's a "language" thing.

I don't see the need to mention this "Please respond honestly - we will still support you" where i'm in the support page asking for help. Isn't that "support" ? And why bring in the word "honest" ?

I will wait for their reply and see what's their explanation.
