Hello.

I recently purchased a v9000HDA and it did not come with a remote.
I'm very upset because when I purchased the player the description said a remote was included but when I opened the box it was now where to be found. The funny thing was that they left the plastic covering for the remote in the box. So the remote was included to begin with but someone took it out. I emailed the the company and they said that the original description was a mistake and will now correct it but that does me no good now because I'm out a remote.

The worst part is that it looks like the v9000HDA cannot be used with HDMI out without a remote which I bought a cable for.

So my question is 1. there anyway for me to use the HDMI out function without a remote 2. can I use a generic remote (which one) and 3. if I have to buy an Ainol remote where can I find one.

Thanks for any help.

You could try sending in a ticket to MP4Nation and see if you can get the Ainol Accessories Pack from them instead. I know you'll end up with doubles of most everything (and a remote), but the accessories pack is only $12.50 on the website. Just getting the remote might cost just as much if you were to find one.

For example, this is a Ainol remote I found through Google. It's $13 USD just for the remote (kinda expensive).

Otherwise, I'd curious to know if any universal remotes would work with the player. If you have one on hand, you could give it a try.

Hey thanks for the info.

I'll contact MP4nation. Hopefully the price includes shipping.

Yeah, I Googled Ainol remote and got that same listing. I wasn't sure how reliable that company was - hopefully more reliable than the company I bought the v9000hda from.

Ainol were playing silly beggers, at first remote was not included, then raz got a batch that had the remotes in, so it may be that Ainol have changed their minds again, which is a pain for the seller as Ainol don't bother to tell the buyers about these changes - anyway, ticket is the way to go to see whats happening

That remote isn't even worth $9!

If it's anything like the one that came with v6000hdt it sucks!

You have to click it multiple times for it get it.

Through the menu navigation it works but during watching video it was very non-responsive.

Yeah but it's better than not being able to use the HDMI function.

Man, I wish I would have gotten the v6000HDT with the physical buttons.

Well through your perspective I might actually be tempted enough to buy it, if i wasn't able to use the tv-out function.
(I forgot the V9000HDA has no button navigation :o ops: )

Did you check there's some plastic film between the battery and its contact to prevent the battery to empty ?
