raz the apad has full access to the android market right? a slate unit with flash and android market is the hotness.. if the wife can play farmville on it there will probably be a few orders from me hehe...

speaking of flash.. have you tried skyfire on your test unit and if so how did it work?

Well skyfire works on the RK2808 tablet, but i am not sure, in general, if flash based games like farmville can work on android.

Well this video review paints this device in a much better light, I saw a review of this in chinese back when these were first hitting the markets, and everything was de sloooow, even scrolling. I'm guessing it may have been running an unoptimized android version at that time. Things look alot more usable now, making this something I just may consider.

Is the audio out quality basically the same level as what RK2808 based pmps are known for? (asside from the Sflow2 ofcourse)

Raz stated in his review that yes, the audio out is the same quality as other rockchip players.
One thing you might want to note however, is you don't get the playfx eq's, And It wont have the wolfson chipset (which makes it sound even better.)

I saw a picture of one of these apad's opened up and it does seem to have a wolfson dac.
