Been looking at this for some time. I had to take my router/modem combo back to Best Buy today. Purchased a new modem with the money, and had some left over. Stopped in at Wal-mart, and lo and behold, there she was, on sale for $75, down from $95. So, I added $20 to my earlier refund and bought it. Won't go into great detail, but it's a nice little player. Not built as well as the Meizu M6, but nice none the less. Plastic body, fingerprint magnet, nice screen. It's also 16GB for $75. Hard to go wrong there. Case on the way.

Alongside my FiiO E5, that also happen to come in today:

Accessories. Just ear buds and a USB cord:

The player itself:

Was bored today, so I added some new ones:

Thanks. I kept waiting for these to go on sale. $20 price drop is pretty good. Like I said, $75 for 16GB is a good deal.

This madness must stop!

Just kidding, nice purchase :) Gonna give us a quick rundown of how you like using it after you've had some time together?

I will do some impressions. I like it so far. Now, of course this plays video, but the screen is too small. Music wise, it sounds excellent. I like that you can display the album art the size of the screen, and go through the songs like that. I finally get to use my embedded album art, lol.

I'm really enjoying this little player. One gripe I do have, be it a small one, is you can't change the background. The adjustable EQ works very well. The screen is crystal clear too.

I've never really seen a Sony player in the wild. I wouldn't mind having a fiddle with one.

Sweet little player Matt. Me likey. Extremely lightweight. All plastic it seems. Very easy to figure out as well. There's presets on the EQ, or you can do 2 customizable ones. It's only a 5 band, but works very well.

What's the UI like? Does it make it feel more or less expensive than it is?

Do you mean the main UI ? I showed a photo of it above. It's not a touch screen, but the buttons work very well for navigation. It's a very intuitive UI. The 2" screen is so damn clear, so that at least makes it feel more expensive. It was definitely worth $75, all day long. 16GB for $75 is a killer deal. Hope I answered your question, lol.
