My 3 V80s are in English firmware already (upgraded by myself). I read some posts here having troubles with their V80 which they cant update to english..thats why Im trying to lend a hand to them. (If the problem still exists though.)

And yes, this is a wroking update no bugs whatsoever in joystick or load speaker. Only one thing I think is not working is the radio which is a new application that came with it...I cant seem to make it work (even with earphones plugged)

See, this is what I am talking about. Either RAmos released it in China before they decided to not make it any more, OR someone with knowledge of the V80 firmware has already started re-writing it. (then again it could have been the manufacture of the Samsung ARM chipset, or even Microsoft-China that did the grunt work)

Anyways, my point is.... If we keep the demand for more WinCE updates and compatible applications, then there is a chance (even if it is a small one) the right person/people will work on it, but start talking trash about these players now and no one will want to buy them and we the early buyers will be the ones to suffer for that.

Kieboy, Yes by all means PLEASE share any firmware updates you might have. With that new firmware and the new firmware that just came out for the M-Touch, maybe... just maybe we can find a way to port and adapt newer firmware updates that might come out for the M-Touch (or others) so that they can be used on the now discontinued V80.

Lets make RAmos see they've made a mistake!

My problem is that they string us along(talkin about CNY delayed it or firmware buggy not ready for release etc..)Im going to call a spade a spade.Ramos needs to take a long look at themselves because it seems like this is a growing trend with them. There are so many other mp4 makers its easy for me to say "I wash my hands of that companies products" I'm not mad I just know better.

Can you please upload the firmware that you got or email it to me at admin@mp4nation.net, maybe you didn't read the other posts but the firmware we got was for the Newman M-Touch which doesn't work 100% with the V80, if you have a firmware (from RAmos or wherever) that does work without these issues, then PLEASE can you give access to them, you would make quite a few people happy.

I am not saying I am against boycotting RAmos at this point in time, because the way I see it they as a manufacture had a responsibility to make sure the customers that took a chance and trusted them enough to purchase their products even though it was new to the market, they should have stood by those loyal customers and provided them with accurate information, and promised firmware updates.
