so... can you confirm if remote works outside of TV-Out mode? If it does this might be the player I'm looking for.

I apologize if this has already been answered but what is the battery life for mkv 720p files? Will it play a feature length film? What about a lower quality divx file? Will it play for around 5 hours or so? I need it to last from JFK to LAX on a continuous basis.

sochips are excellent and famed for long battery, yes, it will play a film, it will play 2 movies - they have excellent battery life, best on the market

Is there a screen protector for this player in the store? I saw there is not Mofi case, but a screen protector...The audio/video out cables from the T13FHD will work with this player?

Thanks! Looks very ineresting for that price, especially if its touchscreen.

The price really looks so attractive for such an amazing gadget. I think it just comes with button operated style, if with a touch sreen, then its price have to be doubled or triplicated, such as Ainol V9000HDA, just a 4.3" touch screen, while the price is nearly same as P810.

Update: For those that are interested, I was able to format that MicroSD card I have to NTFS by changing a policy of the device. So now I can copy larger than 4Gb files onto my MicorSD. YES!!!

We don't carry any screen protectors that could fit this, but i think a generic 8" protector would work for this.

Yeah, that is the trade off on this PMP. I like that about the different units put out by Ainol. Each one adds or takes away size, resolution and touch screen options to allow buyers to find the best combo for themselves. With the P810, you give up a touch screen to get that big 8" screen and a SD card slot.

Also this doesn't come w/ a case, so if you buy it you may want to try using a sleeve for netbooks like these. I'm not sure if it will fit the Ainol P810.

You may find the netbook cases a little big, but i think they should work fine, pick a cheapy one off ebay and it should do the job.
