Yeah, that sucks. I definitely want to keep mine. At least see what this firmware update is going to do. It seems a little promising that they are taking so long. Hopefully they're trying to get it right.

I hear that. Hard to believe they would release it, knowing it does that.

lol - still got alot to learn warrior lol ;) there is a massively high chance they will/could release without fixing it, they could conveniently "forget" about it :)

Nah, I know the lick. Most every player released is buggy. It just seemed like Window advertised the G85 for so long before they released it, that they were doing it right. (what was I thinking)

yep, i thought the same, especially with the video as whatever thy have done is out of the ordinary with regards to what the chip and other players can do, i imagine though that the video playback problem is not something they can fix, it will need to go back to whoever (rockchip) put this whole overall system config together, window will just make the basic changes - i just want to see if the 889 has same problem

How do your other RK2806 devices play video? Does the S:Flo² do the same thing?

sflo 2 is fine in terms of general player and so is the T11RK, as i mentioned before, panning on rockchip display very minimal juddering but its small, the G85 is much more obvious in its frame dropping, or whatever its doing and of course i ran the T11RK against the G85 with same movie (as well as the OS72HR) and TllRK was fine, time wise, its just the G85 sped things up considerably, and watching them side by side make the G85 problems even more pronounced
