As the title states. We've been talking about this player a little here and there,so I decided to make a dedicated thread for it. http://translate.googleusercontent.com/ ... L4xAW7-oqw

There is a Cube H880FHD with the F10 Boxchip, but it's a 4.3' screen player.

im was looking at this for 5 mins thinking you got something wrong in the names H880FHDR and H880FHD until i noticed the "R" on one of them - so, roll up for the confusion wagon people

also see they are playing the BBE card again - shame the UI and especially the orange backdrop - seems to give an annoying twitch whenever i see it

BBE is a nice EQ if you are into changing sounds

I hate that orange background, but, that can be changed. Seems like a decent little player. Wouldn't mind having this one, but won't buy another player for awhile. The FHDR has a headphone amplifier, the Maxim MAX9722, with a claimed output of a 130mW. I believe the Fiio E5 amp has an output of 100mW.

Damn names do get confusing. You think the H880FHDR would be an improved H880FHD, yet the H880FHD has a 4.3" screen, lol.

on these 3.6 and 3" i would much prefer vertical UI than landscape - just a note if cube "product buyers"/designers and watching

Cube are liking the HiFi thing at the moment, what with the C30 mp3 also packing the BBE heat

I agree. But it seems they don't do that too much, these players.

They sure are. It's good to see imo. Now if they just get that whole ID sorting thing down pat...

Cube needs to stop with that 130mW business. That's an "up to" figure from the manufacturer so you'd probably have to strap your player to a car battery to even approach the maximum rating. To my knowledge, no MP3 player has ever exceeded the 55mW/channel maximum rating of the Rio Karma and that was at a low 16 ohms. Cowon players are typically in the maximum 20-30mW/channel range at 16 ohms.

I can't choose between B33FHD and H880FHDR

I really want a good screen and SC9800 powerfull

I don't see much difference between those two devices

is it only a question of form-factor ?
