Hi all,

First post....great forum!
Would be very grateful if anyone could give me some suggestions regarding a problem I'm having with the T11TE.
I can only see a light indicating charging when I connect via USB to either a USB port on the computer or via a USB lead to a plug. After leaving it powered off or on and connected in this way overnight there's no charge indicated in the charge bar and the player won't stay on when disconnected.
When I connect it via the DC input socket no charging light comes on and it has no charge even after being connected overnight. However, when it is connected via the DC input it will stay on and I can use it to watch vids without a problem suggesting there is some power getting through.

My conclusions so far are that it seems it:
(a) isn't charging via the DC input
(b) when it does appear to be charging via the USB input it doesn't hold the charge

Is there something I'm missing? or have others had simialr problems? Would some form of reset sort this out or is it more likely a problem with the battery?

Any help would be great!
Many thanks,
Giles

Wow, I don't have this player, but that does sound like a battery related problem. Hopefully someone can help you that has experienced this same problem. BTW, welcome to the forums.

The T11TE can't charge via USB, this is why it does not look to charge when you connect it to your PC.

If the player works normally when connected to your charger but does not work when unplugged then this is usually a sign that the battery has become disconnected from the circuit board.

The only solution to this is to send it back for fixing or to fix it yourself (only do this if you know how to fix problems like this and you understand that you will invalidate your warranty). If you got this player from us and want to send it back then please open a support ticket:

Also it will not charge much via the DC input if you are playing it while it's plugged in.

That's quite true, but it should charge at least a little, enough for it to not turn off right away.
