Nice review, covered everything really well in a not too technical manner. Great set of pics too. For the price they look like a top buy.

Thanks.

Thanks for the nice compliment tvh1108, I appreciate it. I really like the M1's. I'm still listening to them.

Nice review, TWP. :D I think I'm getting some M1s, I'm into hearing all the detail in the music without very strong bass.

Same here, so I think I may be going with these afterall. After reading this aswell as the reviews over at headfi. punchy bass rather than boomy, and less fatigueing over long periods of time are big selling points to me.

Edit: one more thing i'd like your opinion on, would you say these still suite bass heavy tracks like D&B and Rap despite the less emphasized bass? and how well do they handle complex tracks such as Metal/hard rock (are they as fast as the R03/M2s and R02s?) Thanks!

It's very true. I put them in this morning, and thought, hey, where the hell did the bass go? Then I quickly realized I didn't get one of them in my ear far enough. Of course, a good seal makes all the difference in the world. These sound excellent. I'm really enjoying them.

Absolutely. You know the saying, garbage in, garbage out, just make sure you use quality files, and get a good seal in your ear.

Excellent. This is what I listen to almost exclusively, metal and rock. Throw a little country in the mix as well. It's been handling it all very well.

Don't have any of those my friend, sorry.

I have 80+ hours easily logged onto the M1's now. I do believe these IEM's benefit from a little burn in time. These are really nice , I'm enjoying these a lot. It's very relaxing listening to these. Unless, of course, I turn up the volume with some metal playing, lol. Sounds killer. Love it.

will those work with a sansa fuze ? I have the SM pl-30's and it takes about 70% of the volume for comfortable listening, and the Impedance on the M1's is much higher, will the sansa fuze even drive them to a comfortable listening volume ?

lightmaker, are you in the eu? Your sansa fuze is probably set to the newish EU audio restriction requirement. If you do a factor reset and then choose rest of the world or US as your location then you shouldnt have the problem :) .

Hey lightmaker. I saw your post at head-fi. I use mine with the Sansa Clip+, and it sounds awesome. I do like loud music, and it plays just fine.
