I think it's still a cool little unit, just doesn't have very good video and battery.

well we may be able to get it a bit better if we try and swap out the video codec files int he firmware with the ones in another player as the T11RK is not as bad as this one, in fact this player is playing movies too fast for a start, not normal- so a test is in order, if it works ill upload the firmware

well they seem to be trying to get prices down massively at thee moment with many new 299yuan players being thrown onto the market, for the better players to compete they have to try and get the prices down as well, think the product pages need update again!! and a annotation on the video would be the best place raz

The companies slash the advertised retail price and then give retailers these accessories packs, like Ainol does, they charger an additional RMB$100 - $200 and people are pretty much forced into buying these packs, this is where the retailer then makes their profit.

I am guessing the G85 probably lost lipsync about 12 times through out the playback and rectified the mistake by jumping 1min ahead. Seems to be a pretty common method of self correction for lipsync on players.

well its not jumping 1 min ahead re the film as that would be massively noticeable and its not, all we see is like a slight pause every seconds
