So what we want to know is... comparing the Brainwavz M1 & M2 we've heard how they sound individually. Now we want to know how they sound contrastingly. What does the M2 do better... how about the M1?
This I would like to know aswell, I'm planning to preorder either the M1 or the M2s soon....
I just want something more clarity and fun sounding than my current best IEMs, the cx-400s. How do these compare to Sennheiser cx-400s? how about the older CX-55s?
I have the M2's and the CX500. I've heard in the past that the CX500 are the same as the CX400 with a volume control - but I've never seen that confirmed by Sennheiser. I have to believe they sound very similar if not identical - the CX500 were the flagship of the CX line.
I can tell you that in the bass and mids, the M2's beat the crap out of my CX500's. In the treble frequency range, it's close - and the CX500 might have a narrow victory there on the basis of a little more extension. But I have to say overall that the M2's are a good level above the CX500 due to more, tighter bass - warm mids, and a quality soundstage. Build quality is also much better.
I keep thinking that the M2's would be the ideal upgrade for someone with CX300's because they have practically the same sound signature - but tighter bass and a quality midrange.
