Not real sure. Here's a guide for the T17FHD, same process. You would have to download the files for your player, of course. Look at it and see what you think: viewtopic.php?f=69&t=16414

@rowwor:I'm using Win7 64bit and as far as I remember the FW of T13FHD was 3.41. I have the 8gb model.

Do you still have XP? I think win7 caused the problem.

Are you sure there is no reset button? Try reload the new FW here. http://translate.google.com/translate?t ... wnid%3D206

Scroll down the page to follow the instructions. But I'm not sure if it's working since you're using win7.

All you have to do is to copy the t13.img file, and the amlboot file to a micro SD card, put it in your player, and it will automatically update. No need to install drivers. And make sure your micro SD card hasn't been formatted to NTFS too. Make sure it's FAT32. This has been a known problem with upgrade failures. It's the "Upgrade Party 2:" here: http://translate.google.com/translate?j ... h-CN&tl=en

Make sure your battery is fully charged, per the instructions.

Right now I'd be more concerned with getting my player to turn on. Then worry about the drivers.  He said it was recognized to begin with. It was after he loaded songs onto it that it wouldn't boot anymore. Sounds like a corrupt file to me.

rowwor, it was recognized the first time he plugged it in. His computer DID recognize it. He copied music files to it, perhaps corrupt, hopefully did a proper USB disconnect, THEN had problems with it. After he upgrades, it will be formatted, and should be recognized again.
