I'll try the 2.1.1 firmware version, but when in the music menu I don't see any of the songs at all(flac), but in the file manager through the extra menu, I can see the song file, but it seems to have a question mark next to the file. I can play mp3 songs fine.

that's normal, FLAC is not listed in the album/artist/title menu because it doesn't read the ID tags but you should be able to play it through "browse" in the file manager, the question mark is odd though, shouldn't be there, it should say .flac

Do you have microSD card. Try to play FLAC file from that card. I had some problems with file reading, they ewre stored on the internal memory, but if I play them from microSD - no problems. Later I fixed the problem with internal memory too.

I tried also putting other lossless formats into the player to see if they work and none of work, but I'll try to get a microsd card to see if that will change anything.

right this is too odd, the T51 ability to see and play lossles is not unique, all rockchip based players can play them so your player not seeing them is odd, support has not been removed in any way, now, we have seen odd occasions where some users copy over certain format and player refusing to see them, for no reason, popping on another PC and transferring some files though worked, for some reason their PC did something during the transfer - so to rule it out can you try another computer at all and transfer some files to the player and see

This actually worked, but it's weird I put the music on the player, and hooked up the player to my other computer where I took the songs from the player that didn't work into the other computer, which I then put the same songs on the player again and it seemed to work. Thanks for the help everyone, I appreciate it.

very odd and this phenomenon has no rhyme or reason as yet, good to see they are now recognized - now, to determine what is happening with your other PC ....

NinjaCat - just a thought, on the troublesome PC try go to device manager and uninstall the player, then try reconnect and let it get recognized again, see if that helps

I actually tried that, it didn't seem to work, but with my other computer all that it is used for is to browse the internet, nothing is installed or anything, but enough to be able to browse the internet, maybe through something I did with this computer that it doesn't seem to read

Hmm... quite OTT, but what's the chance of T51 getting rockboxed or ported (mympx.org)? We can try gathering infos

Would be awesome if it's possible, I know I wouldn't mind even if it takes quite some time.
