I should suggest you go for the G85 anyways. As you've seen and owned a nice 800*480 screen you don't wanna go back again!

I don't since I have a media player yet, but I would use it at home as a media player.

Hey guys just went through the review and what you guys have been talking about and i just cant decide on the g85 or the g89. Is it really worth spending that extra amount for the g85. Also great website has been really informative.

Thanks
I'd say the G85.

I see. I guess I'm still old school and just pop a DVD into the ol' home theater system.

For me it would be home use also. I have three extra speakers, to get dolby prologic, so as there is no real 5.1 here it would matter to me if I have a good download that has stereo sound or a dvd. Anyways a dvd would be worser then the T13FHD would output, if you have some nice blue-ray rips 8)

I can always just get a blu-ray player, lol. How big is a blu-ray rip anyways? Kinda big, aren't they?

Yes you the lowest you can get are 4gb, but those are really compressed. I think you need 7-8gb for any reasonable results, but I'm not shure as I just started to get them.

It's still waiting for the player and I don't know where the package is, the track and trace number isn't working some how....

While waiting for my G85 to arrive I started ripping my CD's to FLAC (it's about time I got around to doing so ^^)
I have used Mp3tag to add embedded coverart, however when playing this in Songbird it did not show up, so I had to add coverart in songbird itself.
Could somebody with a G85 test this out for me and tell me if the coverart shows up (and the other tags while we're at it ^^)
I have uploaded 2 files, you can find those here http://natsubambam.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/ Plus chicker uses updated tags trough songbird, Modern is only tagged using Mp3tag

cover art embedded for flac never works on any player im afraid, so i can tell you now it wont work, not many, even mainstream players that have flac can get the art to work
