Oops. Well, I guess I just revealed where my priorities typically lie. Just the Meizu M6 and M3, then. The rest are MP3 only.

True enough, this is MP4Nation.

Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it. I initially thought about MP3 too, but MP4 alone was going to be overwhelming enough, lol.

This is an awsome idea TWP, nice as an archive as well and could be pritty nice if you looking for a new player! The main chip is still in almost all cases 90% the main choise while you are looking for a player.

Pasen
Touchmusic (Teclast T39) - TCC770 = Telechip
RE-16 - RK2706/2808?!

JXD
300 - SK80** = Sunplus SK8000 series
1000 - SK8*** = Sunplus SK8000 series
2000 - SK8*** = Sunplus SK8000 series
3000 - SK8*** = Sunplus SK8000 series
V3 - SK8*** = Sunplus SK8000 series

Don't know the exact core type of all JXD's (for the 300 I'd thought it was 8006 or 8012) and the list can go on and on with all models and also because they do like to change hardware once in a while. Don't know if it's affecting the core as firmware upgrading with official firmware will fail for some people and they can't find the correct/original one anymore yet.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I was hoping someone would chime in with some JXD stuff. I'm not familiar with that brand at all. I already had the Teclast T39, and I'll wait for the Pasen, to be sure. Thanks for the players/chips. I know this is a monumental task, but I think it will be nice to have in the long run.

If you're really feeling up to it, you might think about breaking down the lists into current and legacy players. I mean it's not likely you're still going to find an Oppo S5 or a Teclast T29, even used or even in China.

The V9000 HDG by Ainol can be added to the list as being the SC9800 chip, if it hasn't already been mentioned.
