My V8000HDW arrived today !

Just installed the last firmware, in general settings, pre-defined wallpapers are missing. During video or music playback, options appear the same as in the V9000HDA, the Media Lib is still a mess, but it could show album art.

New video options are subtitles size and color, the smallest size is in fact the default in the previous firmware, the two others are bigger and color added are red and blue but yellow is missing

. The image filter option (soft to sharp) has been removed.
The only positive feature to me with this firmware is Album Art, I didn't test everything, I maybe missed other interesting options.

, but I have to remember it when watching half of a video on the mediaplayer of the living room (Popcorn Hour A100), then take the USB pen and watch the rest few hours later on the PMP. If I forgot, I have to press the Fast Forward key during many seconds.

I only use the players when I'm in bed. So I always forgot where I left because I fall asleep..lol

Ah that's why I didn't seen the size option before on all the reviews, but weird they removed the sharpness option. No real succes probably?!

Oh that's nice, I'd though I'd saw it missing on the T17FHD, but as the T13FHD has newer firmware (at least if you compare it to the unit in Raz his vid) it could be added

But I don't see why they removed this option and added subtitles size, the default one is good enough for the 6" screen.

A bug on the main menu, "Week" takes the place of the current day:

About infos given during music playback:

On the top of the screen from left to right:
Player is in music mode - the music player is active - the buttons are unlocked - brightness of the screen is set to 3 - current time - volume level - battery status.

In the middle :
Album art - visual effect (replaced by lyrics if the option is set)
Title then artist name.

Bottom:
Elapsed time - listening mode - ratings (from 0 to 5 stars) - equalizer mode (harp=soft) - song duration.

Equalizer (DBB for Dynamic Bass Boost):

Another bug, when the title is very long it's scrolling horizontally, when the artist name is very long, it is centrered and cut on both sides:

Do you mean wallpaper setup/changing? Go to picture view mode, on the settings panel the last shortcut is the wallpaper setup option.

I know this option, but with the former firmware, you could choose between 4 wallpapers in the general settings.
