you did all the work midnightwalker - so well done, glad as i was about to go out for the evening - anyway, good to hear its all back in order - BTW was it the bottom reset button you pressed or the side one

@midnightwalker good to hear its working again. Did you attempt this on an XP, vista or W7 machine?

same here, i had to reconnect the USB cable and the tool recognized the device again
