I actually use a gaming headset.
It's a Plantronic's 777 headset.
All sounds seem very clear, but when using it with a PMP or other non computer device you'll have any extra 2-3 in cord hanging around for the microphone and all.

If you like the sound sig (flat and slightly scientific) , its definitely a steal at its current price !

I've gone just a little overboard recently as far as head- and earphones are concerned and now have the following incoming:

Have stopped buying for now, and due to cash issues over half of them have been sold. Being lazy i tend to stick to a few at a time anyway. For outdoors, was using the Sony W202 (lack of wires rocks !) but just RMAed and got a brand new set which i'm trying to sell, and will probably switch to Philips SHN9500 (my gf gave them to me... if i don't use them soon i'm gona get chopped to tiny little pieces...) At home i tend to use headsets for now due to gaming =/ (Steelseries Siberia v2 or Razer Barracuda)
