just thought i would see what players you are gonna get in raz, alot to choose from, what do others want to see for sale

i think gemei players look good and the HD8800 seems a good bit of kit with color PDF handling which may interest some as they have been improving like mad

what about some 3" players to replace the OS81 and VX555HD??

what about the new Ainol range, i know you aint a sochip fan but they do have a good powerful video chip that seems top notch

so whats coming and what do people want to see on the shop??

These seem to be really nice players mad. Have to agree with ya on that one. The Gemei section on the iMP3 forums are full to the hilt with info on this player.

What do you suggest here mad? The VX555HD is no longer made, but I think the VX555HDL is, or at least, was. Hard to keep up.

well for 3" we have the vx777r which, TBH looks like a piece of crap, the onda vx520 player also look pointless with no sd slots, low memory and HDMI (work that oen out), ainol have a sochip 3" as do cube i think, the MSI 3.3" player (forget name) looked reasonable if a little ugly - not a great deal to choose from of the top of my head

well, to be honest i don't care

lately, i just browse through the topics to keep myself updated and see what's going on but i really can't be bothered anymore with players because there's absolutely nothing revolutionary coming, it's all the same

i was really disappointed in the T51

kinda feel the same way, been what 3 months since a firmware for the t51? and it still sucked..

too many devices with the same hardware that all carry the same type of borderline crap ui/firmware

Cube are dropping a 3.6 inch HD player >>>

http://www.imp3.net/1/show.php?itemid=27543

Gota feeling the interface will be rubbish though....

Kind of a shame that none of the companies seem to be focusing on sub 4 inch devices any more. Drop something under 4 inches with android and they could be onto a winner. I would really like an audio plying device for casual video watching too but the only one I have seen which has caught my eye was the Viliv P3...and god knows when we will see that if ever...

I am just waiting for the MIDs to come out. I was lucky enough to win the 8gb Ainol v2000, but I really have not used it at all! As soon as I realized it wasn't what I was looking for I lost interest, which is terrible.
So a nice 3.5"-5" touchscreen MID is what I'm waiting for. Even the new 7" Archos tablet looks interesting for under $200, but a little too big....

Yes I agree 7 inch is too big. The Ramos W7 could work as a portable player as it has a very slim profile and looks very small for a 5 inch device, I think it will just be pocketable. My main concerns though are the battery life and price. The price looks too high to me and the battery is not looking to great for either audio or video. Something around 4 inches or slightly below with a small bezel and slim profile is really the best compromise between everyday portability and pleasurable video/web viewing IMO, but standalone players (not phones) of this size seem to be getting rarer. Wish more companies were making stuff like the Viliv P3. I also still think battery technology is not good enough to carry only 1 device for everything (phone/internet/music/GPS etc etc )

Interesting that itoos announced 3.6" player a few days before that Cube announcement. I guess yet another lower-end platform is being unleashed...the itoos article identifies the processor as the "Hezhi" HD986.
