up until right now all 5" screen have had at least 1 bad viewing angle, thsi is usually from the bottom when tilting player backwards to an extreme angle, we are seeing the next gen of 5" screens very soon with many claiming the use of LTPS technology BUT we have yet to see if they are any good or not

not sure about the 7" screens TBH i imaging the suffer also

how bad is the 8000HDS is it bad on all angles??

Yeah, hopefully we will see some soon.

I would love a 5" player with the same screen quality and viewing angles as one of the good 4.3" players, like the OS72HR. I'd pay for it too - even if it meant an extra 20 bucks on top of the purchase price.

ups, that Onda VI20 looks very nice... on paper
i hope a review when it comes to market

here are, under my opinion, the viewin angles of my Ainol V8000HDS.
i hope you understand

I must say, the viewing angle is the only thing bad about this player. All the rest is awesome, i love it.
The touch of the exterior plastic is very soft and good construction.
It has a lot of features, perhaps never use it, but there are.

Here's the viewing angles of the new Onda chim0 was talking about. Not too shabby, but a little dark looking from the bottom. Side to side looks good though: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/ ... _qpTZ102ug

oh dear - so much for the 170degree LTPS -you can se how this colors invert as is with all the bad angles screens - so we are still waiting for that elusive all angled 5" screen

Yup, that's what I said above. Still not too bad overall though. Does anyone watch their player from this angle? I personally think viewing angles are overrated. As long as it's good side to side, more than 1 person can watch it. I would guess that most players are being viewed by only one person at a time anywhos.
