searching--- it is pity that the search works on filename... not ID3 tag

selecting by artist - it show all songs

many thanks Hinagiku for all your efforts in this, i hope the developers are taking all your observations seriously - its good that they gave you this as its always better to get proper feedback from real users

would be nice to see the player connecting to the market place and opening an application - if you get the chance

it would be nice to sort out all the music stuff but i fear that your words may fall on deaf ears as its never been sorted properly so far and i cant really see it changing, i dont understand why they lst music the way they do but hey

Before they product release, Ramos, teclast, ainol...etc give few players to the tester on imp3 or their own forum member. after release. They will have half price offers(most like 299-399rmb) to the members to write the reviews. That's why you see so many of T17FHD and other new release reviews on the front page.

Yes, you can. they open to all forum members. But problem is they don't send the player over seas. I was thinking to ask them send it to my sister in Shanghai, then she can send it to me with express ( I think is 120rmb when she sent me T11rk) But again. There is a time limit for the contest.

Many thanks again for all the info Hinagiku. While it is definitely a good idea to try and get Ramos to fix the tag issues in the stock player, lets not forget that with the market and apk installer you can always install a 3rd party music application that lists properly like 'meridian'.

Although it is far from, perfect overall I think that this is looking like a nice device. From what I have seen it has already exceeded my expectations. I love the android font droid sans as well....

Hinagiku >> just wondered....what kind of battery life are you getting? Also does it have tv-out? I saw on the preview images it only has 1 port for everthing, is this true? Does the acceleromter work for all applications also?

@sere83 I totally agree with you, the beauty of having a system like Android for a PMP is the ability to install alternative programs, you don't have to stick to the default, but in this case i do see people using the Rockchip apps as they will support more file formats than what you can normally get from other media player apps.

This is pretty amazing. the fact that this MID is the future of the Rockchip and that it will even be used in phones! I guess the rockchip will gain some more worldwide use but stay under the radars of recognition.

@Hinagiku Thanks for the prics. Looking pretty neat little device. And if you can tell all of the other testers to report those issues to ramos too. That way there's more reports; higher chance they change it.
