Hey guys,

There's a tool here: http://vcardenasblog.blogspot.com/2008/09/album-art-extracter-for-rockbox.html that will extract embedded art and give it the same name as the file so it shows up on the S:Flo2.

It's straight forward enough, but ask if you need help!

you can get album art to work beyond 4meg with external files only and for some lossless aswell

mediamonkey can also do this, i have it set up so that when i transfer music it automatically extracts the image from file and renames it to what i have previously told MM to use

but thanks matt for this, always goof to have options - though of course we can expect a fix to the embedded art limitations currently in the firmware (i HOPE!!)

Yes, because it turns the album art into an external file and the S:Flo2 appears to display jpg files as album art so long as the have the same file name as the song. e.g.:

01. - Track name.mp3
01. - Track name.jpg

that's a nice temporary workaround but not a long term solutiuon of course, this is a bug that needs to be fixed

what's happening to T51 firmware anyway? haven't seen anything for 3 months now

I still think that there's a magic filename that will display one piece of art for all files in the folder.
