well everything was going good till i started messing with different updates . now the touch screen doesn't work and its on lock when i know it isn't. i tried to turn it off and install the old firmware but when i do that soon as a plug up the usb i comes back on!!!!!

On the VX858LE there should be two small screws on the bottom of it, beside the miniSD slot. Remove those screws, and try to get the back cover off.

The hynix chip referenced in the guide that had tweezers slid across it is a "EtronTech" branded chip in the VX858LE clone.
It may be easier to short the pins on the rectangular memory chip instead. It looks like three possibilites were found for the memory chip.DO NOT TOUCH THE SQUARE CHIP AT ALL, THAT IS THE MAIN ROCKCHIP RK2608A CHIP.
dewoine, use the firmware that previously worked for you once you get your MP4 player into "rockusb" mode.
