Hi Maderin1,

about problems with OTG function on some low cost players was Your opinion 100 % correct.
So, I am thinking about a nice gadget, MICRO PC YDP-G80. So, I will have no problems with pics and AVI Keychain camera video viewing. And a cool, little gadget is also, isnt it ?
Now I am waiting response about CE certificate, which will be a must have for EU Customs.

I have read a lot of negative opinions and a positive as well.
Guys who not own it, have mostly negative opinions but owners are very satissfied.
My opinion is that is a nice BBT (BigBoysToys).
I only hope that it will work more than month or two.

Do You already test it ?

Your opinion is very valuable for me.

Thank You,

Bye.

If You still want I will reload Keychain camera clip for You.

well the G80 was sold here and a few got it with mixed response, personally i would not touch it with a barge pole, limited, poor build, must be better MID out than that one, its actually quite old now, how much have you seen one for

yes upload if you will, worth a test

as for OTG, well i have a sochip player with OTG and my tests prove it is hit and miss, depending on the hardware you are using, some will some wont attach - T17FHD is a good bet for a good all round player with what seems to be one of the better OTG implementation and good video support

124euro?? - best offer?? - thats pricey for an older player but

if its not the original than its no point testing as the players will play youtube files, but if you want to test a file direct from the camera that would be best - i took a sample from that site you posted and it played on only 1 players (ingenics based player - not popular and no OTG on any ingenics based player) - that was a avi sample i did not try the mjpeg sample yet

124 EURO is the lowest price Google can find.
Somebody know a better price?

Yes, on Mediafire is original from the camera.
Where is the nonplaying problem, in codecs ???
But winCE based player will be ok, I am sure.

by default winCE may not play, its usually with add on programs thet you can get better support, its winCE5 on that player i think and you will need to check if the player can actually load other programs, im sure it can but make sure

well tested that file, played well on the sochip based player, not at all on rockchip 2806 based player and wont play on cc1600 player - so your original choice of the 430, being sochip will play the files best from what i see -but, regardless, your biggest thing is .. will the camera connect as a OTG device, even on the G80

Oh, this is good info about sochip.
You know, this camera is basically recognized as USB STICK when You connect to PC.
It opens drive F or drive G... not camera device.
I will try (maybe both of options we talk about) and then I will see.
Strange that nobody on this forum has not tried this little 16 gram camera.

Bye,

P.

well. my media players are also recognised as USB devices but it just wont pick most of them up at all - as that is 2 drives, i assume 1 is internal and 1 SD - this maybe a problem
