I'm not sure, and the translation sucks:

TL-M66 Product firmware upgrade method

Step One: Firmware Download

Please copy the URL of the following web address bar, open and select download

http://www.teclast.com/topic.php?channe ... opicID=148 (at this click to open)

Step two: Install the driver RK28usb

Hold down the M66 after shutdown "volume reduction" key will not let go, and then use the data lines and computer connections. At this point the computer requests an

Installed RK28USB program. Select the download firmware decompression after the "drivers" folder for the installation is complete.

Step Three: Open the upgrade process and begin to upgrade

Unzip the downloaded firmware, click on "Upgrade procedure" and double-click to open "RK28BatchUpgrade.exe" procedure is as follows map;

After a long hold off the M66, "volume reduction" key will not let go (as icon buttons position), and then use the data lines and power

Brain connections, select the TL-M66.IMG firmware file, click the button to begin the upgrade.

Note: The "mandatory wipe" the disk is formatted, so I chose this operation, please be intraday data backup

try this

connect the player to the PC by doing the old pressing volume button stuff?
player should be connected as a rock28USB device now, i assume you have already got the drivers installed properly
open the tool
click the small button at the top of the tool - load the M66 firmware
now click the big button, bottom left of the tool and wait!!

now wait and see what happens

i assume you have been reading the rowwor thread and seeing the MASSIVE difficulties she is having and that this may not work as the player seem incapable of accepting firmare

way not, i thought you did the "holding buttons thing" and got the ADD NEW HARDWARE WIZARD pop up and followed the instructions in the thread that was linked to install the drivers, installing the drivers for this process is not the firmware and does not need the tool

You're way confused. Installing the drivers doesn't need the tool. Holding the volume down button, while plugging in, should get you the install wizard for the drivers. Look at this thread, and you'll see how to install the drivers. From instruction 4 to 12. You'll have to use your drivers, of course: viewtopic.php?f=69&t=14799
