nm, i fixed it

Just to note to anyone updating, if you get an error when the program is formatting your player, then you may need to disconnect an other external memory devices that may be connected to your player, seem like my card reader was the cause of the update problem.

Well somethings i have noticed is that scrolling is smoother, but not faster, also switching between album art screen, to graphic music bars, to lyrics is smoother. I guess there has been some under the hood work done with this update.

- load the .IMG file
- press the "switch" button for USB mode
- press the "U" button to update

you'll the image file being transferred, the Kbytes are running up

at the end it will ask you to format, this is odd, but has to be done to complete the update procedure

well it seems to me that its not updating every time and alo when navigating around the music tags the player does not pause anymore (as its not updating the LIB) - so not sure what happening to you chim - more testing needed, need to reload a massive load of files on the player

as for smoother transitions and scrolling i dont really see this, seems the same to me - really wish teclast would list changes rather than this guessing game"!!!!!

teclast do this often, i bet they have taken it down as so many are having update problems with the tool ,teclast forumers are also having problems using that tool - so i assume that they took it off download to see whats happening (at a guess) - they did this with version 1.20 as well - up - down etc etc

Oh, ok. Thought I was blind, lol. Sometimes when I click on the link I made, it shows the X16 firmware, and sometimes it doesn't. Strange.
