I got my Christmas give away reward today, an 8gb Ainol V2000SE, and I am pretty excited. Unfortunately its all in Chinese!!!! Can someone tell me how to change the language to English so I can use it!!!!! :o ops:
I did a few searches, but I could not find anything, and honestly I am too impatient to keep searching to get this thing up and running!
Thanks!

From an old thread on the topic:
Quote:
11: Change menu back to english. the menu back to english. Root > Last option > 7th Option

Basically, you should be looking for something like this: ?? ("language" in Chinese)

The option for English should look like this: ??

Thanks, Chengdude! I actually found it by systematically going through the menu items for a while last night.
The buttons are definitely opposite what I would expect, so It takes a bit of getting use to.

No problem...since you got the other V2000, did yours power up straight out of the box? I think the one I got might be fried (started another thread to ask for help) since all I'm getting is a white flash and the computer won't recognize the player even after charging for a couple of hours.

Mine seems to be fine, it showed a full charge on arrival and all functions seemed to be accessible from the menu. I have not had time to hook it up to my laptop and start transferring files yet. I will try to do that this weekend and let you know how it goes.
One thing I can tell you right now is that the buttons are backwards from what I would expect (I have seen others talk about this) and I have not played with it enough to get used to that yet. Also, the main round play button in the center doesn't seem to control anything...very strange.....
Let me know when you get yours up and running, I'd like to know what you think of it.
