Maderin, with the latest firmware 1.4, there should be a pdf reader, and i didn't see that on other chinese build players yet, so the cc1600 has now something more then all the others. I don't, and i can't know that it is good at this moment but i would love to hear that most pdf's can be displayed good, but i keep a close eye for the future players, since now no player is able to do just what i needed, and every single time there comes a player or a new firmware out, there is a reason that i have waited it seems. But it also seems i don't need to hope to much to have my very good player, until then i stay with the mahdi that plays everything that i have, to bad the tv out is not good, to bad it has no touch screen or remote, to bad it doesn't have OTG, and to bad that it is not perfect for video playing, but it does play about every file that i tried with it, especially wmv7 and wmv8. It is very hard to find a player that plays older and newer codecs togheter, and the Mahdi was the only one that could play older and newer codecs. I don't have the time to re-encode almost every file i want to view on a media player. I don't see movies, i use it mostly to view a video of a tutorial of some program, and some smaller video's also, and the most are in wmv7, wmv8 and wmv9 and a few flv's, mpg1/3/4. The video's that i view are mostly for viewing on the big tv screen, and i have a dedicated player for that, however, it only plays avi, mpg, rm, vob, and dat files, so no new codecs or the wmv7, wmv8 and 9 that i mostly have. And it also uses 30 watt of power, while a portable player uses much less power, so i hope one day, hopefully next year i can buy one portable player to use it for the tv with hdmi out and a remote, and with much codec support, both for viewing on the television, as on the go.
xiloo, apart fro the fact its touch screen this player uses the cc1600 and as such will have the same abilities and functions as all the other cc1600 player like the os72hr or onda vx545 etc etc there are no extras etc etc with regards to functionality but i like you want to see how good or bad the actual touch screen is on this one
