Geez!!!

Cowon A2 :: Cowon A3 :: Cowon S9 :: iriver SPINN :: iriver Clix G1 :: iPod Touch G1 :: Nationite S:Flo :: Samsung P3 :: RAmos T11RK :: LG Chocolate BL40 ==

I'm waiting for my T11RK... you are saying that it looks better than Cowon S9??? an AMOLED player
Cowon S9 have a cost 3 times this Ramos player :D
I do have a Cowon D2 named as the best sound player    IMHO my M6SL sound even better
I'll never bought a so expensive player anymore... all my Chinese brings an excellent sound and my Ramos RM970 the best image... until I have my T11RK in my hands

Congrats!!!!

i have the player for almost a week now and i must say i am very happy.

I pondered between several players including the S9 which has an amoled player, but my main reason was to watch videos and for the price this is really the best u can get.

I attached the screenprotector which makes the screen feels much more better then the "mat" feeling.

Figured out the keylock setting which is really usefull, usenet vid format are playable without conversion still have to figure out mkv/264 but dont really see the need on this player for now.

battery looks good got it half full/empty and charged it to full with wall charger in 2 hours, if not less, so far played 2 hour vid and 2-3 hours mp3 and its less then half. And i played some around the features.

Ill keep u updated.

My dear fellow Brazilian friend, now I understand why you put this short comment about my preferences for the sound of M6SL over Cowon D2.
¡¡You do the investment in a D2!!. :D :D :D :D
Let me explain myself briefly. I own both players, plus about 6 more, and I'v tried another dozen more.
Engineers manage to give some "flavour" to the players they put in the market, specially serious makers as is the case of Chinese Meizu and Korean Cowon. (Let me tell you that Meizu have put the best cell phone for audiophiles in the market, there is no other cell phone equipped with a Wolfson DAC in the world as it is in Meizu M 8) (Maybe there is  ).
The same care for sound was present in Meizu M3 and M6 (no SL) both with Philips DAC.
Then Meizu put a Wolfson DAC in M6SL (WM8987) the one I have right now (I did have also a Meizu M3).
It's not the same Wolfson DAC that is in Cowon D2 (WM8985). Then it can be possible that Meizu brings a good sound... but...
The sound of a player is a very personal matter. Do not confuse with the overall quality of the player.
Cowon D2 was by far the best PMP available in the market. Its capabilities didn't has comparison with other player in past year.

My Cowon D2 have two firmwares (original Cowon 3.11) and a fantastic open source firmware called Rockbox, created specially for audiophiles. So I have had the chance to test the player under lots of circumstances, and I still feel that Meizu M6SL fits better with my preferences in sound (only sound because as player is not half of what Cowon D2 is).

I've chosen T11RK because it also have a Wolfson DAC (WM898 8) the latest delivered by the Scotia manufacturer.

Believe me that I have been in this area for lots of years, and I trust more in my ears than in some so called experts (Korean followers) that have no idea of the natural capabilities that have some Chinese manufacturers like Ramos, Teclast, Onda or Meizu to produce very good sounding players.

Un abarzo afectuoso de este amigo chileno. (non falo Portunhol ainda)

I have the M6, too... It was the SL version, now the TS version, and I love that player!
I was testing lots of players from china too, there is a lot of them around my room! Belive me! A lot! D2+ is the first one from Korea, and I tried few big brands too. M6 was the best one for me till now.
The only thing I hate on M6 is those hicups by the end of songs... I'm prety sure you have it too, cuz I tried the M3, the M6 SL and the M6 TS and they all have the issue! I asked myself all the time why they didn't take care of that little thing...
I'm gonna give a try on D2+ to see what happens... I'm waiting for better IEMs, too... They are on it's way to me...
I got the T11RK, but battery life for videos is kind of poor... Beside that, I love it!
The S:flo Classic was a nice one too, just the 8 to 9 hours battery for audio broke my heart and I sold it...
I'm not that old on this world, but I was very enthusiastic spending money here... Raz likes me a lot, I'm sure... lol
Nice to know that you're from Chile! Jo ablo un poquito el español, pues que vivi en Venezuela quando era chiquito! ;)

If you have the money then get Meizu M8, is an awesome PMP, with the annoyance of a cell phone and a camera.
Unhappily all engineering efforts of Meizu are devoted to this product, forgetting to solve the bugs of their music players, like this atrocity which is stuttering (called hicup by our friend louisnomad).

Returning into Ramos T11RK... one reason to buy it was that I have a Ramos player RM970, which brings excellent sound, without a dedicated audio decoder, then I'm sure that T11RK will sound as angels.

Concerning sound, again, this is a very subjective matter.
I only have one theory: the best sounding player is the one you like most, despite of the opinion of "experts".

this issue of HICCUP on the M6 is something i never experience, many did and it was an issue for a while on meizume forums, i personally dont have it, not sure why but i dont, not on the SP or SL versions, maybe down to music files, bitrrates, not sure and cant remember what the final resolution was. From what i read a few days ago Meizu have officially stopped anything to do with media players now, AFAIK they are a mobile phone company now and that is all - no more players!!!!!!!!

i treied BTW the test firmware for the T11RK and it ws not very good so i hope the official release fixes the NEXT SONG bug in the music player as it was not fixed in this test version, in fact all that is done is add a calculator (which is too slow to use at a decent speed) a torch app!!!! and add invisible NEXT and PREV button to the ebook reader

I think this fw was made by someone out of RAmos, not by them. There´s nothing "new" as we could say in that way.
