and who cares that is the D2+ thread? I'm prety sure all the D2+ owners here will not bother themselves about a little mess on the conversation...

and btw MY D2+ IS COMING HOME TODAY! YAAAAY! I've being watching lots of videos and reading lots orf reviews... Can't wait to have my hands on it...

- Cowon D2+ 16GB + Kingston 16GB SDHC Card + betaBRAIWAVZ + Head Direct RE2 (Spare Headphones to come really soon) + Cmoy Amp (Just waiting for the guy to set up the Ebay auction to buy)(Audio Player)
- RAmos T11RK 8GB + Kingston 4GB Micro SDHC Card + Sennheiser CX300 B + FiiO E5 Amp (Video Player)
- Smart Devices Q7 + Kingston 8GB Micro SDHC Card + alphaBRAIWAVZ (E-book and Internet Player, listening to music all the time)
- Nintendo DSi XL + betaBRAINWAVZ (Game Player, but only on my plans, as it still wasn't released yet)

I think I'm almost ready for battle! What you think? lol

Wow! Pretty impressive, I only have HDV6000, Sansa e260, T11RK is on the way, Sennheiser HD595, Philips SHS 4700 headphones, Kanen md52 and Soundmagic PL30 earphones and GP2X for gaming (many emulators and homebrew games) but it can do more, editor, calculator, PDF reader, picture viewer, music and video player.

I have no earphone amp, but building a Cmoy would be nice, my last build was a Chipamp kit (Gainclone amplifier).

Yes it does, they are absolutely identical as far as the HW goes.
Just slightly different look and newer FW (which can be used on the 'old' D2 as well).

I've being trying to figure out which FW people like the most, but nothing till now... What about you, Razor?

I am running 3.11 and I am very happy with it. There are differences in the BBE+ sound between 3.02, 3.10 and 3.11 and I like this one the best Louis.

BTW: I also have a Cmoy amp on the way, did you order from the guy in the US that has an Altoids addiction ?

You really tried Rockbox on the new D2+?
It´s only a month ago that I read this from the Rockbox-team:
WARNING: The SD driver is still in development and may contain bugs. There have been reports of SD cards becoming unusable after being used with Rockbox on the D2. Only using risk old, low-capacity SD cards until we are satisfied the driver is safe to use. You have been warned!
It should only work on older D2´s , so there´s def. a change in hardware...even the D2+ shall have differences in new and old.
But I don´t have a D2, just had it on my list ...
