I just bought S:flo for a week ago.
It's beautiful and the touch screen worked pretty nice!

I have some question about charging time.
The guide book reported that the first 3 times we have to charge s:flo for 10 hours for the fully charge. So, others we can charge only 4 hours.

But it's the 4th time of mine, s:flo need more than 4 hours. I charged it last night for 6 hours but it still had a half of battery. ><"
I'm worry about it so much.

what is the charging time s:flo require?
Is my s:flo battery damage?

when the battery is full, the screen will show "full charge", isn't it?
and if I connect it to usb port to manage the songs while s:flo is charging, can it show me it's full yet? (It always show "usb connected")

I'm confused...

If you are charging it via PC, please make sure to use the safe disconnect option for USB devices (or dismount), this will then change the S:Flo screen from USB mode to charging. This is important for charging, if you don't do this, the S:Flo will remain on USB mode and the screen will not shut off, so the battery won't properly charge.

Thanks a lots for your advise.

I think my battery ran out too fast.
least than 12 hours. ><

I'm not sure that it's because of s:flo charging doesn't show the scale completely.

Need wall charger! ^^

there's question..
If s:flo battery damage, can I change it (battery only) ? or have to buy another one?
Thanks

Well the 12hrs if the max, thats like with the screen totally off, playing audio files in mp3 and at 128kbps and at a medium audio. Using the screen, higher bit rate audio and higher audio volume will reduce the battery life.

As for battery damage, it depends on what you mean by that, if the battery stops working on its own, then we can fix it, but ig you do something to cause damage to the battery, then no we won't fix it.

To get more battery turn your backlight to the lowest, have you volume at 15 or less, use the touch screen to a minimum, and you can try using a nice amp that mp4nation has up for sale.

Is there "full charge" message?
My S:Flo2 always shows "Charging..." message even if I connect AC adapter all the day.

it takes a very long time but it should say "Battery charge complete" in the end

hmm, I'm charging it over 30hours but still "Charging".

According to the manual, it takes 4 hours to full charge... Is the manual wrong? Or, is the "Charging" message wrong?
