I'd love to go to Hong Kong one day. I wouldn't wanna live in a big city, but love visiting them. Maybe you would do better here in the US if you lived in New York City. Do you live in a small town?

Yes, east Baton Rouge parish, 20 minutes from BR. Veeeeeeeery backwood place. I know I won't be here for long. ( every 2 years move again.)Yeahhhhh!

I will love to live in the smaill quite town but not too far away from city. Benicia(near SanFrancisco), Gig Harhor(near Seattle) are great place to live. But Hong Kong is my home. That is where I belong.

New York? Would love to visit, but not to live there for sure.

I live about 90 minutes by car from NYC. I've been there enough times and am old enough and have seen enough other places that I can't see why anyone would want to live in NYC. In the North East part of the US(Greater NYC & New England) the people are not as friendly as other parts of the US. Where else does one find Stone Walls in the middle of forests & wooded areas?
As for traveling to other places, I have always been disappointed in what the media shows and what I experience. As for big cities and crowds, I try to avoid them now that I am older. When I was a young man I wanted to see the world and be with lots of people. People in big city settings all seem to be in a hurry and the people in crowds don't care to see the 'world around them'. I live in a community of about 20,000 people. My house is surrounded by woods and stone walls. Just yesterday, a young deer and a rabbit where in my back yard at the same time. I live 20 minutes by car from Long Island Sound and go to a beach that is 1 mile long( it use to be 2 miles but erosion has taken its toll) in a park designed by the same man who did Central Park in NYC and many other parks in the large cities of Europe. Having looked for many years for the perfect place to which to retire, I think that I am already living there compared to all the other places I have seen and to which I had hoped to retire.
