Nothing happens when i connect it. It works fine on my PC but i get autopilot and it freezes and stuff when its not connected and even when i use a wall charger so i dont know what to do. It wont let me reinstall the firmware because its on Vista and wont let me install an INF file properly so i am out of things to try.

right, i ran vista too and upgraded to windows 7 to run XP virtual mode where i could upgrade the firmware of my os-81 but that's a bit too much of a solution

SOTEC, another forum member has the same problem. he updated to firmware 2.03 from tecalst but still auto pilot and freezes. maderin1 on the other hand also runs 2.03 firmware and doesnt have auto pilot or freezes, well sometimes i believe

well, you need an XP machine to run the update tool. i've tried copying the RKW file to the player and restart but the update process went halfway through and then booted into normal operation mode so we need to do it through the update tool

if i listen left and right, makes me think there are different hardware versions of the s:flo floating around

yea, there are two batches of players.

batch one was a long time ago, around a year ago....... the latest firmware for that would be 1.07
if you bought one after august 2008 anytime it would be a batch 2 which means you can only use 1.04 and these new versions from teclast (eg 2.03 ect)

right but the auto pilot issue seems on both of them so if it's not the hardware, wtf is it?!
