VX545HD how do you convert mkv to divx?

Hi,

after one month day for day, I got my 545HD in france (customs didn't see it ha ha).
I flashed to 1.3b staigt away. It is a sweet player, only thing is the lack of support for MKV and
all my mangas and HD tv series are in MKV H264.
I tried using SUPER to convert theme to DIVX using SUPER but I can't seem to get the settings right as when I play theme on my VX545HD, I only have the upper 3rd of the picture. The reste is just... nothing. The files play well on my cowon S9.
If any one can tell me how to convert mkv to divx for the 545HD I am all ears.

I use format factory and it works great converting mkv to divx.

mm .. i have a itch that we may see MKV on these players soon, the new ainol HDS now has it, new rockchip players have it so for chinachip to compete they will have to add MKV via updates - now, if it will work is another matter!!!!

well let's hope, is this chip MKV capable?

I tried format factory, it works but only takes the first soundtrack (wich is japanese).
Too bad I can't select the second track. Guess until they implement MKV function I am stuck on my media center for these files.

I would say yes to that, but also i would ad don't hold your breath either, especially seeing how we do no know who is releasing this new chipset found in the HDS and other similar player. As far as China marketing goes, you may never see MKV support on the CC1600 chipset (even though it could handle it) just in order for you to buy another player with the other chipset that does support mkv.

Anyways probably in 4 months time MKV support will be standard and we won't even remember what a big deal it was to have a player that supported that particular format.

yeah and my girlfriend will be bashing me on the head for buying a new PMP every 4 months :mrgreen:

thanks but I think I'll just leave it here.
Too much trouble to pass theme to the 545, I'll just watch theme on my HCPC or my S9 if
I have to move.
