hi - sounds like the screen timeout is set very low -- i assume you mean that the screen goes blank after 10 seconds, this wont happen in video and ebook as they bypass any timeout settings - so have a look in settings and see what you can see there, i cant remember the actual name or options as its been so long

mm .. odd .. if you go into SETTINGS and look at the CLOSE SCREEN setting what does it say
